Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for FirstChoice staffing. This position offers a 12-hour night shift, premium pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for travel and per diem assignments.

You will float across units and locations, provide high-quality patient care, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve outcomes. Current RN license and valid state credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state.
• 1.5+ years of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU; 2+ years for other specialties.
• ACLS, PALS and BLS credentials per specialty area (as required).

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and multiple locations/regions.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate as per nursing practice.
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge and experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities.
