Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 14-week travel assignment in a 28-bed inpatient Observation Unit near the ED. You will work the night shift in 12-hour blocks, with guaranteed 48 hours per week, starting 10/05/2026.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, patient assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, and care plan implementation under protocols. You will collaborate with the ED team to optimize flow and safety and may float to other

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Experience in acute care and observation unit preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for a 28-bed inpatient Observation Unit near the ED.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes in acuity, and administer medications.
• Collaborate with ED staff and ancillary services to optimize patient flow and safety.
• Document care and changes in patient condition in the EHR.
• Maintain competencies and float to other areas of competency as needed.
