Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics in Worthington, MN, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and an active MN RN license. 36 hour weeks, 13 weeks, nights 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with potential float to General Medical when OB census is low.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required.
• Skilled in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care.

Responsibilities

• Work in the OB unit of a CAH acute care setting.
• Care for OB triage, labor & delivery, postpartum, well-newborn, nursery, and GYN surgical populations.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios (1:2-3 mom/baby, 1:2 early labor, 1:1 active labor, 1:3 post-op).
• Use EPIC EMR, OBIX monitoring, and Acudose cabinet.
• Night shift 1900-0730; may float to General Medical when OB census is low.
