Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a NICU RN for a night shift contract in the Denver area. The assignment is onsite for 13 weeks starting 9/28/2026, with 12-hour nights 3 days per week. The role requires caring for high-acuity neonates in a Level III/IV NICU and collaboration with the Rose NICU team.

The position offers a competitive weekly stipend plus base pay and uses Meditech for documentation. Strong communication and critical care skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BLS and NRP certification required.
• NICU experience at Level III or IV.

Responsibilities

• Assist with level 3 NICU procedures (circs, chest tubes, intubations).
• Medication administration and blood draws (arterial, heel, venous).
• Nurse handoffs and bedside care for neonates.

General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 24 licensed spots
• Number of Staff – 41
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 charge with an assignment, No nursing aids utilized. Staffing depends on acuity.
  • Night Shift – same as above
• Type of equipment – Level 3, oscillators, vents, bubble CPAP, central lines, 23 weeders, ABG machine, pump feeds, telemedicine
• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• BLS & NRP
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• PICU experience
• PALS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Circs, Pneumo taps, intubations, chest tubes (assist with level 3 procedures), no surgeries done at Rose NICU, No Nitric or no head/body cooling.
• PIV's, medication administration, giving blood, handoffs for communications. Blood draws from arterial, heel and venous.
• Transitions are observed in NICU, delivery experience as NICU attends all high risk deliveries.
