American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg PCU/Tele RN for a Neuro Trauma unit in Wisconsin. The role requires 2 years of MS/PCU/ICU experience, with trauma and trach/vent skills preferred. You will work a 12-hour night shift, 7p-7:30a, with rotating weekends and holidays, and no call.

Must hold an active WI RN license and BLS/NIHSS certifications. Responsibilities include direct neuro/trauma care, drip titration, and patient monitoring on a 5N unit; float to 6 MS specialty units as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg, PCU, or ICU experience required.
• Trach and vent management experience preferred; training available.
• Drip titration experience required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to neuro and trauma ortho patients including drip titration and respiratory support.
• Titrate drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, 3%, and Insulin as ordered.
• Collaborate with a Level 2 trauma center team and adapt to unit needs and patient acuity.
