Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a night shift contract position in Texas. The role requires at least one year of NICU experience and NRP certification, with an active TX or compact RN license and BLS. 13-week assignment in a children's hospital.

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible. Travel allowances and housing options are included in benefits.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Current NRP certification (Advanced 9th Edition) from the AAP.
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required.
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in the NICU of a children's hospital.
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients requiring intensive care.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position.
