Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN with Med/Surg expertise for a 13-week travel contract on a night shift. The unit supports telemetry, COPD, CHF, diabetes care and general medical/surgical telemetry with a patient census around 8. Floating may be required and local travel experience is preferred.

Active NC or Compact RN license required, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. DNR and time-off requests are governed by unit policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required in Med/Surg.
• Active NC or Compact license (pending OK for submittal).
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Traveler experience preferred; unit may require floating.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to adults and geriatrics.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias; manage dysrhythmias as needed.
• Administer medications, manage IVs and blood products.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (PT, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy).
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols; document care accurately.
