Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Post Partum position requiring recent specialty experience and weekend availability.

Details

• Postpartum unit within a Family/Childbirth Center
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule varies between 7pm-7am with weekend shifts required
• No on‑call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in postpartum specialty
• Current certifications: AHA BLS and NRP

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to postpartum patients in a high-volume, fast‑paced environment
• Experienced travelers preferred due to unit pace and volume
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Returning perm staff must have a 2‑year break before returning as a non‑local traveler
• Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
