Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with CHS, is seeking a highly skilled nurse for travel assignments of 8, 10, or 13 weeks across our nationwide network.

You will provide plan of care, administer medications, collect specimens, collaborate with care teams, and educate patients and families while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Act as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
