Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Newburgh, Indiana. The RN will provide care for adult patients in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting, work 12-hour nights, and join a hospital partner for a 13-week assignment with weekly pay and housing options.

Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS, and 18 months of acute care Med/Surg experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
