Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. The assignment spans 13 weeks with shifts of 12 hours on nights, totaling 36 hours per week.

Start date is 10/12/2026. This travel position requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS, and at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Acute Care experience. Housing or housing allowance and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
