MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Newburgh, Indiana. The role covers Med Surg and Telemetry with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and a 13-week duration.

The RN must hold an active license, a nursing degree, BLS, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care Med/Surg experience. The position offers weekly pay, housing options, and comprehensive benefits through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments
• Administer medication
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members
