Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Newburgh, IN. This role requires a year of Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS certification. Shift is 12 hours, days, with 36 hours per week and travel employment.

Qualifications

• One year of Med Surg/Tele RN experience required.
• Active RN license in Indiana or compact state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications per nursing standards.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Collaborate with care teams to create individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during treatments.
• Ensure infection control practices and PPE usage.
