MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing assignment in Newburgh, Indiana. The position requires Med Surg / Telemetry expertise, RN licensure, BLS, and flexibility for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a night 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities include providing care for adult patients, completing physician-ordered treatments, administering medications, and meticulous charting to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medications.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care.
