Cross Country Nurses seeks a Travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Washington, DC, working nights on a 12-hour shift. The role requires a BSN, DC RN license, and telemetry/acute care experience. Expect a 9-week assignment with 36 hours per week.

The nurse will provide care on a telemetry unit, perform assessments, document thoroughly, and comply with licensure and regulatory standards. Housing and travel benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Current DC RN license.
• At least 1 year RN acute care inpatient experience.
• 2 years Cerner experience.
• NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Graduate of NLN-approved RN program.
• Ability to pass telemetry rhythm interpretation test.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide med-surg telemetry patient care on night shifts.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document patient information accurately.
• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care per licensure.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements.
