TotalMed RN seeks a Telemetry RN for travel nursing in Washington, DC. Assignment features Med Surg / Telemetry, 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications.

Qualifications

• Required ACLS, BLS, NIH certificates; 2 years of experience.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized telemetry equipment and interpret displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
