Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry/Med Surg travel nurse in Washington, DC for a 13-week assignment. The RN will cover 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, in Med Surg/Telemetry, with ACLS, BLS, and NIH requirements.

The role involves monitoring heart-related data and providing bedside care in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work in a travel assignment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• Telemetry/Med Surg nursing.
• ACLS and BLS required, NIH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and monitor telemetry data.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety procedures.
