Job summary

TravelNurseSource, in partnership with Magnet Medical, seeks a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg/Telemetry in Needham, MA. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, monitor telemetry, administer medications, and educate patients.

The role involves collaboration with the healthcare team, handling emergencies, and maintaining high standards of safety and documentation. This 13-week contract begins 11/16/2026, offering weekly pay of $2,802 and a 5 days x 8 hours shift pattern.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Competency exam may be required.
• Med/Surg Tele experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs and telemetry.
• Administer medications and manage care plans per physician orders.
• Monitor telemetry data and respond to arrhythmias or distress.
• Provide post-operative and wound care as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with medical team to coordinate patient care.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate life-saving measures.
• Document all care in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
• Engage in quality improvement and ongoing education.
