Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a registered nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry travel position in Massachusetts. Requires MA RN licensure, BLS, and Meditech experience.

Position is 36 hours per week, nights, on a 13-week assignment with a 12-hour shift pattern. Travel benefits include paid licensure reimbursements and tax-free per diem options. Eligible for traveler rewards and comprehensive insurance plans starting day one.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Experience with Meditech EMR required.
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting.
• Night shift position, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, three 12-hour shifts per week.
• Telemetry patients within a generalized Med/Surg patient population.
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Use of the Meditech electronic medical record system.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Must be able to provide patient care for both medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• May be required to float within the department as needed.
• Compliance with holiday rotation is expected.
