Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• 2+ years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• Ability to work evenings and commit to weekend/holiday coverage as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, skilled nursing care for adult patients on a Med Surg Tele unit, including telemetry monitoring
• Assess patient conditions, interpret vital signs, respond to changes in status, and escalate as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document administration accurately in the EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and update care plans to reflect patient progress
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions; ensure safe and appropriate care transitions
• Maintain regulatory compliance, infection control practices, and a safe environment for patients and staff
