American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool position in CT. Requires CT or Compact RN license, BLS, and travel experience, with UI exposure in Med/Surg, IV starts, and blood products. 12-hour days, weekends rotation, OMINICELL/Cerner experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license CT or Compact is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Med/Surg clinical experience is required.
• Experience with blood product administration.
• IV start and maintenance experience essential.
• PICC line care/management experience preferred.
• Nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management experience.
• Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge required.
• Any charting system experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Float pool position covering Med/Surg units.
• Care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Utilize Omnicell and Cerner for medication and documentation.
• Communicate via SBAR with the care team.
• 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.
• 36 or 48 hour weekly shift options available.
• Every other weekend coverage required.
• Provide direct patient care across Med/Surg units as part of a float pool.
• Candidates residing within 75 miles are local.
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate.
