Qualifications

• Active California RN license is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years MS/Tele RN experience preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with respiratory care, ventilated patients, and cardiac monitoring required.
• Documentation including DOB, RTO, license, certifications, references, and COVID vaccination status.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical-surgical telemetry nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Care for patients during night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) on a MS/Tele unit.
• Monitor respiratory status, ventilated patients, and cardiac rhythms as needed.
• Utilize Cerner charting for documentation.
• Comply with facility policies and dress code; ensure patient safety and quality care.

Requirements

Additional Information

• Provide medical‑surgical and telemetry nursing care within an acute care hospital environment
• Strict dress code enforced: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, all tattoos covered, no visible piercings other than earrings, and earrings must not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoops
• Scrubs may be any color except camouflage or character patterns
• Orientation includes required training modules averaging 3-6 hours depending on specialty
• Up to 5 days of requested time off and 1 approved holiday off during the assignment
• Three missed shifts may result in cancellation of the assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at standard rate
• Previous facility staff must have separated from employment for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Free parking available on site
