American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least one year of acute care experience and NIH Stroke certification.

Details

Med-Surg/Oncology unit with 31 beds
Patient ratio of 6:1
Documentation via Meditech
12-hour night shifts (7P-7A) with rotating weekends
Floating required to other Med-Surg and Tele units
Unit staffed with secretaries 6am-10pm and techs available all shifts

Requirements

Active LA or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certification required
Minimum one year of recent acute care experience required
Strong physical assessment and documentation skills required
Experience caring for acute care stroke patients required
Well-developed critical thinking and time management skills required
Knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs/HAIs required
Chemo certification a plus, especially for oncology patients
