American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift in Maine. The role requires an active Maine or Compact RN license and a minimum of two years of experience.

The position runs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM for 13 weeks, with a 25-mile float policy and use of the EPIC EMR system. Applicants may need a valid driver's license and two professional references.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• AHA certifications must be completed before start if non-AHA certifications are submitted.
• Driver's License required for consideration.
• 2 professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical/Surgical Central unit of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Float policy of 25 miles between facilities as needed.
• Uses EPIC EMR system.
• Provide nursing care to medical/surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and subject to local pay rates.
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions.
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract.
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should be identified during consideration.
• Use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones on the unit is prohibited.
