Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment as a hospital float, requiring Med/Surg, Telemetry and IMCU experience. This 14-week traveler role offers nights and competitive hourly pay of $75/hr.

You will perform nursing care following the nursing process, assess and admit patients, administer medications, and communicate with families while collaborating with a strong care team.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in hospital med/surg/tele and IMCU.
• RN degree - ADN, BSN, or MSN.
• Valid RN license to practice in Virginia required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications preferred or required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess and admit patients, perform rounds and provide nursing care per nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Communicate effectively with patients' families and collaborate with healthcare team.
