Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a hospital float position in Harrisonburg, VA. This 14-week travel assignment requires Med/Surg and Stepdown experience, night shifts, and a valid Virginia RN license.

ACLS/BLS/NIHSS are required, with at least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in a hospital setting. As a part of Sentara Rockingham Hospital, you will assess patients, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN.
• Valid RN License to practice in Virginia.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• MUST have AT LEAST 2 yrs of RECENT bedside RN experience in a HOSPITAL on med/surg, tele and IMCU.

Responsibilities

• Assess/admit patients, rounding checks, giving medications.
• Communicate with families and coordinate patient care.
• Provide safe and competent nursing care per standards and protocols.
