Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology position on day shift, requiring a NH or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience. Responsibilities include working in an Emergency Department unit on a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) using EPIC EMR, with a 25-mile float policy between MaineHealth facilities as needed.

Local travelers are not eligible for renewals, and 3–4 days RTO may be allowed for the 13-week contract.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required upon submission.
• BLS and other required certifications must be AHA-issued by start date if not already.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• 2 professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department unit setting.

• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit.
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this upon application.
