Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology Telemetry position requiring an MD or compact RN license and an oncology background. The role centers on adult medical oncology with Bone Marrow Transplant and CAR-T therapies, featuring 12-hour night shifts and unit-based chemotherapy administration.

Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday monthly, with housing and travel support available. Local candidates are welcomed at the same rate as travelers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD or Compact)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Oncology background required
• Telemetry experience required
• 1-2 prior travel assignments required
• Experience at a 500+ bed facility
• Alaris pump experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• Chemo certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Adult Medical Oncology unit including Bone Marrow Transplant, CAR‑T, and Hematologic/Solid Tumor Malignancies
• Telemetry monitoring required for acute care oncology patients
• Night shift 12-hour schedule, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Chemotherapy administered on the unit, though agency nurses are not required to administer it
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Provide care for adult oncology patients including bone marrow transplant and CAR‑T therapy cases
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
