Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a registered nurse for our Hospice/Home Health team in Alaska. You must hold an Alaska RN license, current BLS, and have at least three years of comparable patient care experience; hospice experience is preferred and BSN is a plus.

A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is required for home visits. Day shifts are 8 hours, totaling 40 hours per week, with MEDITECH EMR used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years current experience in a comparable patient care setting.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, current auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Home Health care setting within the Hospice/Home Health unit.
• Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

• Mileage reimbursed at government rate.
