Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hospice position requiring OASIS and HCHB EMR experience and on-call availability.

The role covers a 60-mile radius from the hub with a Monday-Friday 40-hour schedule on the day shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Local candidates may be considered at the travel rate; iPad provided; mileage reimbursed by IRS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ongoing TX license required and in-hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year hospice nursing experience
• OASIS experience required
• HCHB EMR experience required

Responsibilities

• Hospice care for geriatric patients
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• Mon-Fri, 40-hour work week
• Day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities
• Uses HCHB EMR system
• Territory up to 60 miles from hub office
• Flexibility with territory assignments
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted at travel rate
• Scrubs in any color; jeans not allowed
• iPad provided for work
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate
