Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Hospice RN in Tucson with OASIS and HCHB EMR experience, plus recent hospice/geriatric care background. The role includes a Monday–Friday day shift and a travel territory up to 60 miles from the hub office.

Requirements include an active AZ or Compact RN license, BLS, at least 1 year of hospice experience, and proficiency with OASIS and HCHB EMR. Local candidates may be considered at the standard travel rate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing care to geriatric patients.
• Deliver care in a hospice setting with average 5–7 patients per day.
• Cover territory within up to 60 miles from hub office; travel required.
• Follow on-call schedule and participate in documentation via iPad.

Responsibilities

• Hospice care setting serving a geriatric patient population
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• On-call responsibilities required, details to be discussed during interview
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• Traveler must be flexible with assigned territory
• iPad provided for documentation
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Provide hospice nursing care to geriatric patients
• Scrubs required in any color, no jeans permitted
• Cell phone use not permitted on the job
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the standard travel rate
