Job summary

Sanford Med Ctr Fargo in Fargo, ND is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for travel assignments. The RN provides care using the nursing process, collaborates with physicians and the care team, and practices across the full scope of nursing in an acute care setting.

Shifts are 12 hours day shifts, with a 36-hour work week. Assignments are 14 weeks with the option to extend or move to another Sanford site.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state rules.
• Care for patients across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate care, assess patients, educate, triage and perform nursing interventions.
• Operate within the Nurse Practice Act and licensure requirements.
