Job summary

Sanford is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for travel assignments at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo, Fargo, ND. This 12-hour day shift role offers about 36 hours per week with 14-week contracts and options to extend or transfer to another Sanford site.

The RN will provide patient care across the full nursing cycle, collaborate with physicians, manage assessments, planning, and education, and maintain licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of practice or valid multistate license if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrates competency across the full scope of nursing practice.
• Care for patients in all phases of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Coordinate care planning, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and other nursing interventions.
• Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice.
