American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment in Maine. Requires ME or Compact RN license and 2 years of hospital nursing experience. Floating within 25 miles and Ep ic EMR experience provided through training.

Day shift 7:00 AM–7:00 PM with weekend rotation; local rate differentials within 90 miles of MaineHealth facilities. Traveler or local candidates considered.

Qualificações

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact)
• BLS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of current hospital nursing experience preferred
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Responsabilidades

• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Caseload includes orthopedic and oncology patients
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with weekend rotation
• Floating required within a 25-mile radius of facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR; prior experience with Paragon not required and training provided
• Provide efficient, professional, and compassionate nursing care to assigned patients
• Direct activities of paraprofessional staff and ensure effective communication with patients and the healthcare team
• Implement the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Participate in initiatives supporting patient satisfaction, quality care, and cost reduction goals
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates may be considered, with local rate differentials applying within a 90-mile radius of any MaineHealth facility
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewal or extension of this assignment
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should note this during consideration
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract, subject to manager discretion
