Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift at a 265-bed regional referral hospital in Oklahoma. An active OK state or compact RN license and at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience are required.

The role includes a 12-hour night shift on the 3-North unit, weekend coverage, no on-call, and opportunities for travel pay enhancements. Housing allowance, travel/licensure reimbursements, and Day 1 benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active OK state or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Recent travel nursing experience preferred
• Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to Med/Surg specialty
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years

Responsibilities

• Work in the 3-North Med-Surg Unit of a 265-bed regional referral hospital
• 12-hour night shift schedule
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule period
• No on-call requirements
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• Adjust specialized medical equipment and interpret and record patient measurements
• Monitor patient vitals and report adverse medication reactions in a timely manner
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered at a reduced travel rate
