Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment in Oklahoma. Active Oklahoma or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience are required. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory; PALS preferred. 26-week assignment with EPIC EMR usage and a 3x12 night schedule.

Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with a reduced bill rate. Scrubs must be black. 1-year employment gaps must be avoided.

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 26-week assignment length
• Uses EPIC EMR (required)
• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius, subject to a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates within 50 miles limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
