American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an Ortho Surgical unit on a night shift. This position requires 2 years of experience and an active KY or compact RN license. You will float to Med Surg as needed and document in Meditech.

Night shifts run from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 4 weekend shifts per schedule for full-time staff. Travel opportunities include housing allowance and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active KY RN license or compact license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in past 12 months.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required.

Responsabilités

• Work in the Ortho Surgical unit (30 beds) and float to Med Surg (37 beds).
• Typical patient ratio is 6:1.
• Unit uses PCTs and SNEs for tech support with a unit secretary during day shifts.
• Documentation completed in Meditech.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule for full-time staff.

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an Ortho Surgical unit night shift assignment requiring 2 years of experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Ortho Surgical unit (30 beds) and float as needed to Med Surg (37 beds)
• Typical patient ratio is 6:1
• Unit utilizes PCTs and SNEs for tech support, with a unit secretary during day shift hours
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedules built in 4-week increments; full-time staff required to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Floating required to inpatient units, CCU, and ED for tasks
• Provide patient-centered care while managing a patient load and utilizing teamwork strategies
• Bedside procedures performed occasionally by physicians on the unit
• Scrub top and bottoms required; no fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters, denim, or camo; no shoes with holes; long sleeve shirt or scrub jacket permitted under scrub top
• All experience levels welcome to apply
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
