American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 27-bed inpatient unit in the Boston area, requiring an active MA RN license and prior level one trauma and travel nursing experience.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 27-bed inpatient unit requiring an active MA RN license and prior level one trauma and travel experience.
- 27-bed adult inpatient Medical unit serving culturally diverse patients with acute and complex medical conditions
- Patients typically admitted from the Emergency Department or transferred from ICUs
- Clinician to patient ratio of 3-4 during days and 4-5 at night
- 36 hours per week on a day/night rotating schedule with every other holiday and every other weekend
- Rare floating may be required
- EPIC EMR used for charting
- Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted depending on site)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of level one trauma experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration
- Provide general medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients with acute and complex conditions
- Flu vaccination required with no medical or religious exemptions allowed
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
