Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a traveling RN for Med/Surg in Tennessee. The 36-hour work week runs days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, every other weekend, in a 36-bed hospital.

Requirements include an active Tennessee or Compact RN license, current BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of Med/Surg experience; travel experience preferred. No on-call required and Cerner EMR is used. Start date around Sep 14, 2026 for 13 weeks.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring total patient care experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit (Unit/Floor 3) in a 36-bed hospital setting
• Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Total patient care model with a typical patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7
• May be asked to float within the facility
• Uses Cerner EMR
