Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a critical access hospital in Minnesota. The role requires a valid MN RN license, 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience, and BLS/ACLS certification.

The unit is a 14-bed Med/Surg with EPIC charting and Omnicell medication dispensing. Night shift is Friday–Sunday, 7:00 pm–7:30 am, with housing and licensure reimbursement options available for traveling clinicians.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within a critical access hospital's Med Surg unit
• 14-bed unit
• Night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7pm-7:30am
• EPIC charting system used
• Omnicell automated medication dispensing system used
• Floating to other Med Surg units may be required
• Implement the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and document patient care
• Responsible for dependent, interdependent, and independent nursing functions
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates with prior employment at this health system must disclose this for consideration
