Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient GI Clinic position in Georgia. The role requires GA or compact RN licensure and BLS certification, with Epic EMR experience preferred.

The RN will perform GI-related procedures and chart reviews, refer for PEG/IBD, and coordinate care in a Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:45 PM schedule. Travel/local candidates are both welcomed, with rotating responsibilities among RNs.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Gastroenterology clinic setting.
• Performs pillcams, fibroscan, manometry/pH studies, and chart review for GI procedures.
• Handles PEG and IBD referrals with patient outreach.
• Floats between Gwinnett GI and GlenLake GI at least monthly.
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM with a 1-hour lunch.
• 40 hours per week.
• Rotates responsibilities with another RN Navigator.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Provides direct patient care and outreach related to GI procedures and referrals.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates.
• Works collaboratively with another RN Navigator on rotating responsibilities.
