Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) for a travel nursing job in Williston, North Dakota. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, featuring 12-hour night shifts in a LTC setting.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of RN experience in LTC/SNF and a current BLS certification, with eligibility for state licensure. You will oversee patient care, coordinate with physicians, supervise staff, and ensure quality care while following infection control

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly.
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities.
• Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and social workers.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences.
• Document nursing care and resident progress accurately and timely.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
