Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a traveling Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care assignment in Lakota, North Dakota. This 13‑week travel role offers 36 hours per week on a 12‑hour night shift, with employment type listed as Travel.

Immediate needs for LTC experience and a valid BLS are noted, along with state licensure eligibility. The RN will oversee and provide care to residents with chronic conditions, coordinate with the care team, and lead nursing staff to maintain quality of life.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Current BLS certification.
• Eligible for State licensure; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents and report changes promptly.
• Supervise CNAs and LPNs in daily activities.
• Provide wound, catheter care, and other skilled procedures.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and social workers.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
