Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Long Term Care is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Elgin, Illinois. This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours per week with night shifts in a Long-Term Care facility.

As a member of our team, you will provide skilled nursing care, oversee patient care plans, administer medications, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with the clinical team. Illinois RN license, 1 year LTC experience, and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in a long-term care setting is required.
• Valid RN license per state regulations (Illinois).
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action.
• Develop and update personalized care plans with residents and care team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately.
• Educate residents and families on medications and care.
• Document care and resident progress in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams.
