Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN in Long Term Care for a 13-week assignment in Elgin, IL. Start date is 09/28/2026 with nights, 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. This travel role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits through a dedicated clinical team.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of RN LTC experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred. Facility needs may require additional certifications as well.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in a long-term care setting.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and monitor changes to ensure well-being.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Observe for medication reactions and report concerns to the provider.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management and other procedures within scope.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs and ensure quality care.
• Educate residents and families on medications and treatments.
• Document care provided and patient progress.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care.
