Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Long Term Care seeks a Travel Long Term Care RN for a 13-week assignment in Truth or Consequences, NM. You will provide skilled nursing care in a LTC facility, coordinate with the care team, and support residents and families with education and planning.

You will supervise staff, administer treatments, monitor conditions, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Comprehensive benefits and travel support accompany this role.

Qualifications

• One year of recent RN experience in a long-term care setting.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification.
• ACLS Certification preferred; other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, monitor changes, and take action to ensure wellbeing.
• Develop and update personalized care plans with residents and care team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Observe for medication reactions and report concerns.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs; delegate as appropriate.
• Educate residents and families on medications and chronic condition management.
• Document care and resident progress in a timely manner.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Perform additional duties within scope of practice.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
