Job summary

Healthforce in Berlin, Vermont, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a long-term care travel assignment starting 11/09/2026 for 16 weeks. Work 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, in a LTC/nursing home setting.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,117 to $2,259 with no guaranteed hours and travel-focused support. Responsibilities include direct resident care, assessments, med admin, IV therapy, care plan updates, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Vermont.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience; LTC experience required.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.
• Comfortable working with residents with dementia; strong assessment and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in the LTC setting, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment per orders.
• Monitor vital signs, identify changes in condition, document responses to interventions, and manage IV therapy as permitted.
• Implement and update care plans; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team; document in the electronic medical record.
• Float to other units as needed; support dementia care across units and adapt communication accordingly.
• Ensure safety, falls prevention, infection control, and adherence to all policies; respond promptly to call lights and emergencies.
• Be available to work two of the four holidays as scheduled.
