Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a Labor & Delivery assignment in Massachusetts. The role requires an active MA license and at least 2 years of L&D experience, with Epic EMR experience preferred and travel experience a plus.

The position features 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, no floating duties, and a generous housing allowance. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility

Qualifications

Active MA RN license required.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
Epic EMR experience required.
Travel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work in the Obstetrics Delivery unit of a high-volume maternity hospital supporting approximately 2,600 births annually
12-hour rotating day/night shifts, every other weekend, 36 hours per week
No floating or charge responsibilities required
Support a facility known for evidence-based, patient-centered maternity care with a lower than average c-section rate
Must complete Tele/ECG and medication competency testing
Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility and local candidates will not be considered
Candidates must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning in any capacity
