Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in Salem, MA. The assignment is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour night schedule. Start ASAP with travel benefits and a tax-free stipend to be determined.

The role requires a Massachusetts RN license, BLS/NRP/EFM qualifications, and a minimum of 3 years in L&D. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided, with comprehensive insurance available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration.
• Current BLS, NRP, and EFM certifications required, with preference for AHA provider cards.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions allowed.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 25-bed Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Unit within a hospital setting.
• Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2-3 for L&D evaluations, 1:1 for active labor, and 1:3-4 for postpartum.
• Night shift from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend and one night call shift.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients.
