Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Obstetrics/Med Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Iowa. Requires active IA license, BLS, and at least 1 year of relevant obstetrics/Med-Surg experience.

Night shifts with every third weekend rotation and potential for additional certifications are noted. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery units, with floating to the med-surg floor as needed.

Qualifications

• Active IA license required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Additional certifications such as NRP, PALS, ACLS, CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, STABLE, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, or RMA may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery units.
• Float to the med-surg floor when obstetric patients are not available.
• Night shift schedule with every third weekend.
• 13-week assignment length.

• Provide direct patient care across labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery units
• Flexibility to float to med-surg floor as patient census requires
